This is a list of basic, intermediate, and advanced tutorials you might need while editing your site. I highly recommend watching the videos, they are very easy to understand.

EDITing the about page

The about page is a unique page, in Squarespace it is called an index page because it has multiple sections i.e. "about, awards, publications." The only difference for this page is instead of editing the about page as a whole you edit the individual sections. For instance if you wanted to edit the content in "publications" you would select the publications page in the pages panel.

• The edit the full width image click the gear icon to the right of the "publications" tab and upload your image to the thumbnail box provided. 

Editing the portfolio page

Click edit page within the portfolio page and simply replace the existing text.

BASIC EDITS

ADD/DELETE A NEW PAGE

EDIT PAGE

Simply go to the page you want to edit and hover over the content. There you will find a black button at the top-right of the content called "edit." From there it will open the content for you to edit yourself. Make your edits and after any changes you make be sure to select "save" at the top-left hand of the screen.

CREATING A LINK

EDIT IMAGES

Only for regular images, not banner images. After selecting the "edit" button to edit the page you want simply hover over the image you want to change and a "edit" button will appear on top of the image. From there you will have the ability to edit or remove an image. To add a new image first select "remove" then drag and drop your new image in.

EDIT BANNER IMAGES

Select the gear icon in the pages panel. There will be a pop-up to the right of your page with three sections: Basic, Media, Advanced. Select the "Media" section and upload your new image. Size recommendation width: "1600px" no larger than 500kb.
